The Art of Moving Slowly
“Practice Qigong with us in Bang Sare, near Pattaya — or join online.”
Why People Practice With Us
Every session works the same territory — breath, movement and attention. Practice regularly, and this is what tends to shift:
You do not have to be flexible, athletic or experienced. You simply start where you are.
What a Session Feels Like
You move slowly, shifting your weight one step at a time.
You breathe in rhythm with each movement.
Your arms trace slow circles and spirals.
You notice where tension sits — and let it soften.
You stand still for a moment, just noticing.
Movement, breath and attention, together — that’s a Qigong session.
Choose How to Practice
Meet Andy
Andy is a certified White Tiger Qigong instructor in Chonburi, Thailand, with certification in Qigong Breathwork.
His practice extends far beyond learning individual Qigong movements. Over the years he has explored Medical Qigong, advanced breathwork, Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, Reiki, meditation, mindfulness and different traditional healing systems — allowing him to look at Qigong as part of a much larger relationship between breathing, movement, awareness, the nervous system and internal state.
Andy is particularly interested in how breathing and movement can help people reconnect with themselves. He does not teach everyone exactly the same sequence — the practice can be slowed down, simplified or developed depending on your body, experience and reason for coming.
You don’t have to perform Qigong perfectly.
First, you learn to listen.

A Quiet Practice Space in Bang Sare
Zen Pod is our physical wellness space in Bang Sare, just 20 minutes from Pattaya — calm, private, and surrounded by a softer village feeling, created for movement, breathwork, Reiki, meditation and deep rest.

White Tiger Qigong
Andy trains within the White Tiger Qigong tradition, founded by Master Instructor Tevia Feng — rooted in classical Daoist Qigong while bringing together principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine, breathing practices, movement science, fascia, biomechanics and modern research into the nervous system.
Classical Daoist Practice
The traditional practice provides the foundation — Qi, meridians and cultivation developed over generations, and the source Andy’s training draws from.
Anatomy & Nervous System Research
Modern anatomy and science give us another language through which to explore what is happening inside the body — rather than separating ancient practice from modern understanding, White Tiger explores both.
Ancient wisdom. Modern understanding. Personal experience.

The Mawangdui silk texts — sealed in a Han dynasty tomb around 168 BCE and rediscovered in 1973 — are the oldest surviving Chinese writings on the body’s internal pathways, mapping eleven channels well before the fully developed twelve-meridian system shown in later charts like this one (Wellcome Collection).
What is Qigong?
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breathing and focused awareness. Rather than training the body through force or intensity, Qigong often uses slow, coordinated movements, conscious breathing, posture and attention to create a deeper connection between body and mind.
Long before the meridian charts most people picture today, physicians were already trying to map how movement, breath and internal sensation connect — the same territory Qigong still trains directly, through practice rather than diagrams.
The word Qi is traditionally translated as vital energy or life energy, while Gong refers to practice, cultivation or skill developed over time. But you don’t need to understand Chinese medicine or traditional philosophy to begin.
At its most practical level, Qigong is a way of learning how to move better, breathe better, slow down and become more aware of what is happening inside your body.
Qigong & Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Qigong developed alongside Chinese philosophical and medical traditions. Concepts such as Qi, meridians, Yin and Yang and the Five Elements form part of the traditional framework through which many Qigong systems understand the body.
At Zen Pod we respect these traditions while remaining curious about modern anatomy, physiology, fascia, neuroscience and movement science. We don’t believe one perspective needs to exclude the other — they can be different ways of exploring the same human experience.
Qigong vs Tai Chi
They share many qualities — slow movement, breathing, coordination, posture and awareness — but they’re not quite the same thing.
A Broad Category of Practice
Qigong is a much broader category of practices and individual exercises designed around cultivating movement, breathing, awareness and internal health. Many Qigong exercises are easier for complete beginners to start practicing immediately.
An Internal Martial Art
Tai Chi developed primarily as an internal martial art with longer, structured forms — sharing Qigong’s emphasis on slow movement and breath, within a more fixed sequence.
More Than Memorising Movements
A session may include several different elements depending on what you need that day.
Is Qigong for Me?
Qigong tends to suit beginners, adults 50+ and seniors, and anyone looking for gentler movement, better mobility, balance or stress relief rather than a high-intensity workout.
Qigong for Beginners
You do not need any previous experience. You don’t need to know anything about Qi, meridians or Traditional Chinese Medicine. You don’t need to be flexible, and you don’t need to perform complicated movements. We normally begin with simple breathing and foundational movement and gradually build from there. The goal is to feel the practice, not simply copy a shape.
Qigong for Adults 50+
Qigong can be particularly interesting for people who want to keep moving as they grow older without relying entirely on high-impact exercise. The slow pace allows us to work with balance, coordination, joint movement, breathing and body awareness without needing heavy equipment. Movements can be modified to match your current ability — for some people Qigong becomes a complement to strength training, walking or yoga; for others it becomes their primary daily movement practice.

What Clients Say About Zen Pod
The most powerful proof comes from the people who have experienced the work firsthand.
I had a wonderful healing session from Andy at zenpod over the weekend. I tried the shamanic /reiki treatment. First I got lost, and he was so kind to find me and safely drive me to the venue. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. We started with qi gong movements, teaching me much needed stretch practices for my daily life. We spoke for a while and he was kind, thoughtful and asked great questions. After the movement we progressed to the healing which took me to another place. It was a journey to the inner self and felt so peaceful, calm and created much needed space within myself to reflect on what I needed. I loved the different instruments used like the tuning fork and vibrational singing bowls. It was exactly the zen I needed amidst the intense training that I’ve been doing. Andy brings thought, care, and heart to his practice and I def will be back the next time I’m in pattaya.
I had my first energy therapy session with Andy, and it was a very deep experience. One thing that surprised me even before the session started was that Andy had already chosen a metaphorical card for me just by looking at my photo—before he even knew my name or date of birth. The card was **The Sun**. That really amazed me because, according to numerology, my life path number is **1**, which is also symbolized by the Sun. It felt like a meaningful coincidence right from the beginning. Before the session, we spent quite a long time talking. Andy carefully asked about my life, my current challenges, and the reason I came to see him. It felt like he was genuinely trying to understand me and the root of my situation before starting the actual work. Then he taught me a breathing technique, and after that we began the energy process. During the session, I experienced sensations that are difficult to put into words. At times, it felt as if my body was breathing effortlessly on its own, without the usual tension or effort. I also felt waves moving through my body, moments of deep tension followed by complete relaxation, and a strong sense that something was being released from within me. When the session ended, I didn't want to talk. I stayed sitting for about 15 minutes because I simply couldn't get up. Even speaking felt difficult, as if something inside me was still processing and integrating the experience. One of the biggest changes I noticed was my breathing. After the session, I realized I couldn't go back to the way I had been breathing before. My body naturally continued breathing the way Andy had taught me, and it still feels that way. I don't know yet how the intention I brought to the session will unfold over time, but I can already feel a change today. My body feels lighter, and my breathing has completely changed. In fact, I can hardly remember how I used to breathe before. Now my body naturally breathes in the way Andy showed me. Thank you, Andy, for such a profound experience.

I brought my mom for a Reiki session before her breast cancer surgery, and it turned out to be such a meaningful experience for both of us. The space is cozy, comfortable, and has a genuinely warm, friendly atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. After the session, I could really see the difference in my mom. she felt lighter, calmer, and much more at peace. Her energy improved and a lot of the stress she had been carrying seemed to melt away. Seeing how much it helped her inspired me to book a session for myself too and I’m so glad I did. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a supportive and healing environment.

More Than a Class
Our aim at Zen Pod isn’t to have you depend on us forever. A good practice should gradually become yours.
You begin learning the movements. Then you begin noticing your breathing. Then tension. Then balance. Then how your body reacts to stress.
Eventually something that initially felt like an exercise can become a way of checking in with yourself.
Five or ten minutes can become a daily ritual.
Not because of one perfect session. Because you keep returning to it.
